What do I see when I look in the mirror? I see myself, but with imperfections.

We don’t see ourselves as others do. We usually tend to overlook our characteristics that others perceive to be our best. Perspectives of two individuals may vary and draw them in positives or negatives.

My aim is to depict how individuals perceive themselves and how others perceive them. The protagonist here undermines her looks when she looks at herself in the mirror, while the world looks at her imperfections as her perfections.

I have used a glass of water as a medium to depict what the protagonist sees when she looks at herself in the mirror.

The glass of water illustrates one perception, while the face outside the glass shows the other.
