About the project
This project was done in Graphic Design Project class. The briefing was about creating a brand based on the name of a portuguese village of our choice. The project consisted in creating a logo and applying the logo on objects related to the brand.
I chose the village Vergas, located in Vagos, Aveiro. This region is known for its beer production, as well as its artisanal handicraft.
Concept
The brand I created, Vergas, is a beer brand more than two centuries old. It has a distinguishing feature, which is the mug used to drink it. It leads us to ancient times and is based on the craftwork created in the region. The mug also serves as a symbol for the logotype.
