Para Todo or "For all" is a collection of unisex bags made during a 2 week program in Antigua, Guatemala. The Antigua Project, was a collaboration between 12 NYC designers and local artisans. To find out more visit: http://theantiguaproject.com or facebook.com/theantiguaproject.
The result was one everyday bag that could accomodate all the essentials for a creative professional: tablet, cellphone, notebook, pen, and contents of a wallet.
A smaller over the shoulder bag for even fewer items, and a hip bag for a night out when bags can become too cumbersome. The lining, a cotton weave, traditionally made on the foot loom, was source from the textile museum in which we were working. It played a different role for each bag, standing out as a larger design element on the 2 larger bags in the collection.
