The Good People Project

Internal Comms concept for Standard Bank:
 
It’s a strange thing, but there’s far more weight to being called a good person than a great one.
And who doesn’t want to be described as “good”? 

We can acknowledge good people. We can celebrate good work. We can do good and make good things happen.
We can create an emotional wellspring that groups all 50-odd thousand of us under a single banner
– a certain standard, if you will.
A culture book to be dropped at every employee’s desk – A Strategic Guide to Being Good.
Our staff will arrive at work to a warm welcome and a freshly brewed cup of coffee. 
Those who have been awarded in our Beyond Excellence programme will receive a Good People lapel pin.
The Asterisk device can be used to celebrate employees’ achievments,
such as long service awards. It can also be sent to alumni.
We will celebrate real projects that showcase how the people of Standard Bank
are doing the good work that moves Africa forward.
Once established, Asterisk device will strong enough to be used as a stand-alone element. 
Recruitment campaigns are funny beasts in that they are arguably the only external internal communication you ever do.
Because whatever values, qualities and attitude you say you are searching for
are by inference the ones you are suggesting you already have.
