Project
Installation design
The objective of the project was to study Agnes Martin's painting, Love and Goodness (link), and turn it into a three-dimensional design that people could walk around in. Agnes Martin was an American painter whose work often uses grids, lines and subtle washes of color, as a way to tackle such themes of spirituality, beauty, and the expression of our inner feelings. Her work is often poignant and suggestive, showing an intensity that belies its neutral and stoic appearance. Love and Goodness consists of stripes of pastel pink and white, which suggests an artist's concern for interpreting these feelings using geometric and pure forms.
