Selling in Corporate Social Responsibility
A Difficult Task
A company that has such a world renown CSR platform needs to know how to share the benefits of that success with all constituents, including a distributed sales force.  This training attempted to pair down the amount of information to make it digestible, while providing high level facts and memorable images.  I used the Slide:ology methodology as a guide, and completed this following a Slide:ology training.  I used this training as one example when I spoke on the eLearning Guild's Online Forum in April 2011.  If you are a Guild member, you can watch that webinar here.
In training testing, the challenge was to embed many options for the user, without having to view all.  Navigation was left unlocked and the user could browse through each topic.  Media was made available in the top right bar, as many videos were available to complement.
A job aid, the Sales Learning Sheet, provides high level data for the sales person to understand about each CSR practice area on the front side.
The back side of the job aid included a worksheet for taking notes on media available, as well as for the sales person to write their own story - how they contributed to the mission of their company and share that with their customers.  It also included the opportunity to discuss the metrics around each customer and share with them their part of building demand for sustainable products.

An example of a quiz question, which pops down over the content.  To keep the menu bar of the training short, I placed the navigation to the quiz, titled "Knowledge Check," on the top bar.
