parte I
a artista percorrerá os bairros centrais de Santos (arredores do Sesc) durante 1 semana em busca de objetos doados ou emprestados pelos moradores da região. a artista pedirá a pessoas (transeuntes e moradores) objetos que elas possam emprestar/ dar. os objetos terão tamanhos pequenos e médios (no máximo).
esses objetos serão recolhidos e levados ao espaço expositivo. ali, em um espaço pré-determinado, eles serão acumulados, organizados e exibidos em coleção. ainda como parte da coleção, a artista gravará em áudio as conversas com as pessoas com as quais terá interação.
parte II
no fim dos dias de coleção, a artista se sentará junto aos objetos e os prenderá no seu corpo, um a um, através de sutura. esse acúmulo de objetos no seu corpo geram um misto entre a ideia de coleção e de decoração/design. um áudio contará as conversas realizadas com os participantes.
justificativa
a ideia de colecionar objetos descartados vai de encontro com duas discussões que estão interconectadas: o acúmulo, o consumo, o fetiche e o descarte, a inutilidade, a perda da validade, o desuso.
uma cidade grande como Santos, no modo de produção presente, estimula seus moradores ao consumo insistentemente. na televisão, no rádio, nas revistas e jornais, nas ruas. o consumo desenfreado acarreta em duas possibilidades: o acúmulo e o descarte, ambos imensos.
objetivo
levar aos participantes - sejam os que participam emprestando objetos, como os que participaram assistindo a ação e vendo a coleção exposta - um pouco dessa discussão, de forma que tanto o descarte como o acúmulo sejam compreendidos como parte de um consumo sem limites.
