Abstract:
The project aims to enhance and reimagine the educational space with novel methods of mobile interactions. Multimodal interfaces can open up new possibilities for classroom education, where the traditional model of teaching is based predominantly on visual-verbal feedback. To blend in with the immediate setting its better if the devices and sensors are transparent and semi-passive. The aim is to make the user interface more natural and compelling by taking advantage of the ways in which students naturally interact with different stakeholders within an educational space.

We exhaustively explored novel tools that have been developed especially in the context of mobile devices. In the wake of experiencing a few research papers and works of media labs as far and wide as possible, we recorded down some state of the art innovative and novel interactions.
What are we upto?

1. We’re combining what we know about reading with what we are discovering about how to engage children’s learning through new forms of technology.
2. We also know that children learn best when motivated by their own curiosity and desire to understand and figure things out. This type of learning is fueled further when children are with peers who share similar interests and want to discover together.
3. Why mobile phones? Mobile phones are a cutting edge tablet and cloud-based learning experience. This is an intelligent, open mobile platform, meaning it can host an ever-expanding curricular content – learning tools and apps can come from countless sources. Hence.

Mission of the project:

➔ Promote child – driven learning
➔ Book are good, but always provide 2d based interactions without manipulations. There is a need for a blended interaction
➔ Concepts are only graphically depicted.
➔ A study asks a very important question, how many schools in India carry out the activities provided in the NCERT books?
➔ Even all these activities requires physical objects for demonstration. TUIs have accessibility issues.
Can one mobile can perhaps solve the problem wihtout the need of additional hardware?
Not limited to such but we believe our proposals can open up a new area in stem learning systems. it is an attempt to start exploiting mobile phones towards the future of education.
