This project was inspired by Female Masking, an underground subculture where heterosexual men don on silicone mask and body suits to become glamorous female dolls. Female masking springs from the extreme desire to be perfect, to have the ideal form.
“The Pursuit of Perfection” poster challenges the notion of perfection. With 3 typographic puzzles, users are invited to make the text PERFECT as precise and aligned as possible. This pursuit of configuring this perfection puzzle is futile as it was designed to be imperfect.
This is ideal if users participate in a group setting. The configuration of the typorgraphic letters will unveil how people will extensively spend their time (or money in the real world) to attain perfection.
