So I asked my friend Naomi, an art teacher, to help me figure out who I am as a designer. She looked at some of my work and told me I present as "left-brain-led." I am analytical and straightforward, but aesthetics are important to me. I am a color-within-the-lines designer; I’m not into sloppiness-equals-edgy design and there isn’t a lot of extra stuff in my work. She noted I’m interested in theory, and I’m economical and efficient. When I asked what she thought of my sense of humor, which I consider my most important personal asset, she suggested I describe myself as quirky, rather than goofy.
