I created this Pride Festival App concept to explore the requirements and possibilities of an App for a large event or festival. One of my key ideas was the customisation aspect; users are able to choose a colour for the interface to reflect their personal taste.
Another level of customisation occurs during the registration process, where users are asked to manipulate sliding bars to indicate their interest in the different aspects of the Festival.
1 Upon first registering, users select one of eight colours to customise the App interface.
2 Users can adjust a series of sliders to visually indicate their interest in different festival features.
3 Event detail pages are predominantly black, with the user’s chosen colour becoming a highlight. This is to make it easy for event managers to fine-tune their event artwork with one common background colour.
4 The ‘hamburger’ style menu slides out from the screen edge.
