Linear Technology came to Arrow with the request to build leads through a direct mail campaign. We knew many of the components they're promoting are used frequently in music equipment such as amps and sound boards. It also helped knowing our Client Services Rep had a passion for classic rock and loved old album covers. It was a natural progression to creating a series of fictitious album covers based on varied genres of music, hard rock, psychodelic, heavy metal, and of course... classic 'beach boys' style.
These pieces had a lot of information to deliver, so we decided to build a folded die-cut interior (in the shape of a 45 record), giving us even more space to deliver the concept.
