An object book (also know, in English, as an artist book) is reinvention of the book. The object book does not have a reader, but a user.
The book may change with every new page, and it works with more senses than reading.

The object book needs to interact with the user.

The methodology used in this project was based in Matté (2004), with tools presented by Löbach (2001) and Pazmino (2010).
The project also counted with an orientation teacher, Jaire Passos, who helped in the development of the project.

The main challenge was to create a book that could embrace the user in different ways. For that I chose different forms of object representations: physical, photography, illustration, xylograph…

The result was an object book with sensorial qualities, with different approaches for the user.

All the details of the book were specially chosen.

The cover was made with fabric, the prints were xylograph and staples.
The fabric was damaged with cutter, glue and sandpaper.

The book was hand sew by Fernanda Urruth (furruth@gmail.com).
Xylographs were made by Talita Menezes (talitanmenezes@gmail.com).
Shoes illustration by Pedro Lunardi (pedro.hlus@gmail.com).
