Gift Painting for Latino Singer Julio Iglesias
In coherence with the Julio Iglesias concert at Akershus Fortress in Oslo July 12th 2012, the host of the concert, Juan Serrano, wished to present a gift to the legendary Latino singer upon his arrival to Norway.
With the previous experience of composing a painting for Mr. Serrano I used the same technique as in Brava. A backdrop with elements and landmarks known to the place or theme in focus. This time it was Iglesias at the fortress surrounded by some of Oslo’s contemporary architecture, nature, and Serrano himself.
