PROCESS
This assignment took maybe about 3 weeks total to do. Week one was making the walk cycle.
I began by watching plenty of reference videos of football players walking through the tunnel going into the stadium. I took notice of the circular, inverse hip and shoulder movement and appeared quite restricted for some players and was very exaggerated for others. Although what was similar was the head movement and how it followed their shoulders. So I took that into account along with the strong, but quick steps the football players took as they walked as tall as they could. Here's the line tests of me slowly developing my walk cycle:

I began experimenting with the sound from the start. In this particular draft I was thinking of having the sound make him seem like he's walking down the tunnel with the music fading out right from in the tunnel and the stadium ambience fading in from the left.
In this version I decided to just have the music play evenly throughout, as the purpose of this assignment would allow for better continuity because some of the other 3/4 walks had music playing evenly throughout. If it were my choice I'd attempt more detail in the sound but for the purpose of this assignment I opt for music alone.
In week two, we were given the frames of the character before us and we were to begin locking down the key poses and establishing the timing of our transition.
Then, we had our critique. I made only a few changes in the actual transition, but apart from that week 3 consisted of finishing drawing out all the frames and cleaning up the overall look of the animation.
