I had the distinct pleasure to do a live appearance on ESPN’s Opening Night 2015 from Wrigley Field in Chicago.
It was an incredible television experience, as I was shown drawing and painting during the broadcast of the Cubs/Cardinals baseball game, while the announcers commented on my artwork, and even discussed my career as an artist and my inclusion in Cooperstown’s Hall of Fame Museum. An in-depth interview was recorded between myself and John Kruk, where we discussed my passion for baseball and motivations for specific paintings. Additionally, the producers at Baseball Tonight want to use the Curt Schilling and John Kruk paintings as the permanent backdrop for their weekly Sunday Night broadcasts. Truly, a dream assignment for this baseball-loving illustrator.
Thank you for viewing my project.
