I recently directed this ad for BMO Bank of Montreal, produced for agency Cheil Canada. The script called for a large portrait made entirely of thumbprints. The prints needed to be added in stages over the course of the video, which builds to a reveal of the full piece in the end resolve. I decided to take a crack at creating the portrait myself, using my own thumbprints. A link to the finished ad and some high resolution stills of the final thumbprint portrait are below.
