This set of images were taken at Marchington Barracks which was disbanded and abandoned after use in the early 80's. 

Before I came to take photographs here. I had no idea of the size of the whole barracks and the buildings, nor the writing on the walls of the inside. The writing was the part that intrigued me the most as I wanted to know who did it and what their thoughts were at the time. Were they part of a group? Or did they do it as a release from their own lives and wanted to use these derelict buildings to project their own thoughts onto and get rid of them from their mind?
