Wave Field 2013

 

Working with parabolic acoustic reflection, ultrasonic directional audio and automated LED lighting systems, Wave Field (2013) is an immersive interactive sound and light environment debuted at Currents 2013- International new media festival in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

 

Wave Field forms an intersection of advanced audio visual technology and psychoacoustics wherein the user can alter and shape the installation experience with body movement. Using tuned acoustic reflectors, ribbon speakers and sound sensitive light controlled software, Wave Field becomes a multidimensional sound and light chamber filled with local recordings, generative audio and shifting ambient light.
