As a graphic designer, I'm too often guilty of judging a book by it's cover. In fact, the first thing I usually do before reading a book, is to study the cover for a significant moment. Sometimes the cover is so engaging, that i’ll examine it again after i’m done reading too.

Observation: Perhaps a great aspect that keeps printed books alive in this highly digitized era, is that books are not limited to information alone. When we are finished reading them, their meaning of existence shifts into decorative objects that we display so proudly in our homes like an article of achievement. Also, I wonder at times, that if we didn't display our books, would we ever remember to pick them up again ?

Project: The following series of book covers is a personal project dedicated to some books I’ve read in the past and have always desired to redesign with my personal interpretation.
