The Client's brief was to go beyond obvious connection with Irish symbols and to emphasize pub's location which is close to the Roman Temple of Augustus monument in Barcelona. Gaelic pub is also well-known place for sports fans, not only for beer lovers. So, the idea was to combine all important features of the pub. Irish, Roman and sports symbols were inspiration for the final idea.
