A multi-purpose Content Management System
The Nightingale-Bamford School is an independent school for girls (grades K-12) in New York City. The school is one of the eminent independent schools in both New York City and the United States for girls.
In 2005, the school decided to begin a new marketing effort, utilizing the web combined with collateral print to drive the marketing program.
The Nightingale.org web site became a multi-purpose web site in September 2006, with two goals:

Dean Meyers was hired as Director of Communications, to work with outside vendors (Pentagram and WhippleHill) in order to function as a Technical Director, coordinate strategy and oversee the design and implementation of a new, content management system website.
The Nightingale.org web site became a multi-purpose web site in September 2006, with two goals:
1) Create a public-facing marketing tool, describing the school's offerings to prospective student families.
2) Create a community-driven web site, offering internal calendaring for events, micro-sites (pages) for individual classes, an online email newsletter (delivered monthly) built from content from the site.
The site had (as of 2008) an active user based of approximately 7,500.
Project Management included:
1) Stakeholder Interviews and additional research to prepare utilization and integration of new CMS system
2) Strategy planning sessions
3) Development of training materials and execution of training to teach editorial functions and content submission to faculty and content area editors
4) follow-up research to improve system use and improve outcomes from using the system.
