The Barnet Group is a local authority trading company, owned by Barnet Council. They are the parent company to Barnet Homes, a social landlord which manages 15,000 council homes, and Your Choice Barnet, a social care organisation providing services to people with learning and physical disabilities.

 

The Brand Guidelines had not been updated since the company's launch in 2004, and were in desperate need of an overhaul. The focus on these brand guidelines is to reduce the company's dependance on the Communications Team, and encourage staff to "self serve".

 

To achieve this, standard windows fonts have been used in combination with clean, clear and simplistic branding elements. Combined, these create a strong, recognisable style which can be replicated over all three brands.
