This campaign for Blackburn and Darwen Council was aimed at highlighting some of the many cases of domestic abuse that were happening in homes across the region. The use of wallpaper as a canvas was designed to act as a device to place the subject matter directly in the home. The juxtaposition of this, the headlines and the Home Office provided statements in each ad aimed to shock the audience and provoke a reaction. Initially designed to appear in local news publications a further execution was created on a much larger scale to be seen on a number of bus back’s across the region.
