Chocolate has been around for over thousands of years and has been a big cultural impact for many cultures. Our inspiration for the chocolate comes form the ancient celebration known as the day of the dead. The day of the dead actually started back in the time of the Aztecs whose culture revolved around the cacao bean. Today chocolate is used in the day of the dead tradition through sweet treats, traditionally bitter tasting hot cocoa, chocolate covered sugar skulls and much more.

These sugar skulls are decorated with a swirl and floral pattern, which is were we drew the inspiration for the gorgeous and shiny pattern on each package.
