Curated by the Original Z-Boy, Nathan Pratt and exhibited for 6 months at the California Heritage Museum in Santa Monica, the Shortboard Revolution chronicled the most influential surfboard designs and shapers from the era which revolutionized surfing and surf craft.

 

The Fin Studio (now KINGSPØKE) was commissioned by presenting sponsor Hurley to curate, design and publish a rich coffee-table book to document both this inspiring gallery show as well as this influential time in surfing history.

 

Working with archival, never-seen-before images from the era’s leading photographers, Jeff Divine, Art Brewer, C.R. Stecyk, and Steve Wilkings ~ the Shortboard Revolution Limited Edition Book was released at the Opening Night and can be found in select Hurley retailers.
