This summer, my friends Corey and Margaret Beinert were married in Sawyer, MI and asked me to help plan their celebration. The wedding had a lower budget which meant doing a great deal of hands-on projects as well as being creative with found materials. There were many found pieces such as the outdoor furniture, the guest book "table", and the bathtub for drinks, to name a few. For decorations, I personally hand painted pillows, made a sign out of keyboard keys, made fabric garlands, and even made the groom's feather headdress which was worn for the dancing! This was my first wedding I helped planned, but it will certainly not be my last.
