To celebrate Arbor Day in Vermont (2013), I was given the awesome task of using children's art based on the different types of trees and making educational trading cards with them! Cool right? I designed the back of the card and added in some extra visuals to reflect how the real trees' elements might look. Each of the schools that participated or who were interested in obtaining these trading cards could do so. This was a fun project, knowing kids would be learning from them and of course, treasuring them like baseball cards. Below are 3 samples out of the 10 cards that were made.
