Portrait without faces is a project born in Germany, grew out of curiosity whether the prejudices we have of objects and /or people change from country to country, from person to person. These photographs are transformed into postcards which serve as a means to spread the imagination of people as who lived or owned these spaces or objects.
My first intervention was back in 2014 for the activity called "100 in one day San José ", many people decided to share their ideas and be part of a community mural. As you can see in the image below the intervention was a success.
Part of the intervention was that I could take portraits of the People that participated, as you can see the outcome is very unique and beautiful, to be able to see how people portrait themselves without their faces was a privilege. Then they could go to the Facebook page and download them.
For now I have photographs from Germany, Netherlands, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. The idea is to continue collecting them and sharing them to the world.
Hope you like it, if you want to invite me to do an intervention or just comment, please do.
