DOGS I've Nosed from here to Naples is the third book in a series of commissioned dog portraits by photographer Jack Kenner. This 165 page book contains his photography paired with a dog food or treat recipe submitted by each respective dog's owner(s). Based in Memphis, TN, Jack Kenner sent me his original digital images via Dropbox and we collaborated long distance over telephone and by e-mail. I provided him PDF proofs for review, and sent both native InDesign files and print-ready PDFs for his print vendor to output. Because the dog food and treat recipes came in from the dog owners in a variety of formats, I also played editor and copywriter to ensure all the recipes followed the same naming and measuring conventions and the recipe instruction text was as consistent as possible.
