The Western Cape of South Africa is the smallest of the 6 floral plants kingdoms in the world. It is also home to over 9000 different plant species. the area takes up about 0.5% of Africa, yet represents about 20% of its species.

 

So we thought that is a good enough reason for celebration. Our 6 "Botanical wonders of the Western Cape" each showcases one unique plant family found in our amazing province.
