This project is a proposed redesign of the band Travis' album "The Invisible Band". The underlying concept behind the art direction is to visually portray and reflect the album's lyrical and musical evocation of "nostalgia" and "absence". Album packaging includes a booklet and promotional postcards that are enclosed in a tuck-flap pocket, attached under the cd tray. In the booklet, lyric pages are printed on a translucent vellum sheet that overlays onto album photography, further illustrating the layered dream-like quality of the songs.
