Quite possibly the most fun projects to work on in the Bryn Mawr design office. I base each poster on the content and themes of the play. Whenever possible, I read the play start to finish before beginning the design process. Since these aren't required to conform to brand standards, I can push into really creative, conceptual territory that's less acceptable for branded pieces due to our audience.

 

"What I Did Last Summer" won a platinum MarCom Award in the Print Creativity // Design // Poster category. It's not an ADDY, but I'll take it.

 

The "Schoolhouse Rock" poster was such a hit with the theater department that they ordered 8-foot high banner versions to hang in the auditorium—and they haven't come down yet even though the show was in October 2014. Way cool.
