Messiah College Homecoming 2014

The Messiah College Homecoming pieces were sent out to an audience of all alumni to invite them back to campus for the annual Homecoming weekend. The 2014 Homecoming celebration was branded with the tagline “Reconnect, Remember, Renew.” The goal of this branding was to engage alumni in new ways. This included an interactive tagboard using the hashtage #MCMemories to encourage alumni to share their memories and photos of their time at Messiah College. As well as augmented reality and interactive elements added to the campus map using the Layar app and online service.
 
Our print and web pieces for specific groups and milestone reunion years featured archive photos from specific reunion years. The photos were scanned and digitally-colored to be incorporated into the design. The design had to translate across multiple mediums including a save the date postcard, web page, mobile landing page (http://www.messiah.edu/hc), tri-fold brochure, formal Reunion Legacy invitation, email, digital entrance signage and a 2-color T-shirt design.
 
I choose a minimal, text-based design for the more formal Reunion Legacy invitation package. To offset the cost of using a pearlized paper we went with only one ink color.
