Matey Bouy is the identity for a Fish and Chip food social for the younger generation. The design takes inspiration from the visual language of traditional fisherman tattoos, using hand-drawn illustrations to represent the personal touch tattoo design provides. The brand name is inspired by a fishing boat and the colour choice of illuminous orange is to represents the ‘Bouy’.
 
Matey Bouy provides a place for young men to 'hang out' and enjoy good fish and chips as well as appreciate tattoo illustrations. This contemporary food social has tattoo designing competitions for customers to partake in with the chance to add their style and designs to the visual language of the restaurant.
