These are photos of the deck for "Appoggiatura" at Denver Center for the Performing Arts/ Denver Center Theatre Company for their 2014-2015 season. We created this deck by first cartooning and inking out the brick pattern on the primed deck. We then used a sponge rollers to create a stone like texture and yet still keep the surface two dimensional. Then we added glazes to make sure each stone looked unique to create a patchwork stone floor. Fellow painters: Jana Mitchell, Melanie Rentschler, and Brian Proud. Set Designer: David M. Barber.
