Note: As will be explained in more detail below, this project was done in collaboration with artist Abigail Cliff. She designed the featured visuals, and I simply determined the best way to display those visuals.
The Project: Create a cohesive advertising campaign to a Christian liberal arts college advertising multiple events focusing on women and sexuality.
The Challenge: Creating posters for several events which are eye-catching yet tasteful and can communicate a lot of information. Posters must stand out enough to cause viewers to read on past the title and actually take interest in the different events.
The Method: Alongside a team of five other Resident Assistants, fellow student, Abigail Cliff, and I put together an advertising campaign for campus. Original artwork and hand-lettering were drawn in black & white by Miss Cliff, while I designed the layout, added color, determined appropriate size of the posters, and allocated a certain budget.
The Result: Two different "save the date" posters (8.5 x 11) to ignite interest in the event. One larger poster (18 x 24) showcasing events to be placed in highly visible areas in women's dorms.
