2012 Tunnel of Oppression

Tunnel of Oppression is an interactive tour that exposes participants to the often harsh realities of contemporary oppression. The design of this year’s poster started with a hand illustration (sharpie on cedar plank) and then was digitized and colored in Illustrator.
The design is meant to depict the inner struggles that keep chained to the past and the triumph felt when own is able to break free from their own ignorance.
