I was tasked with developing rock-inspired QR codes containing custom digital illustrations for two huge NYC Live Nation venues – Gramercy Theatre and Irving Plaza. They were to mesh with each venue's current branding. I picked up the color schemes from each logo, and I rendered digital illustrations from photos taken at concerts at each venue.
These QR codes are for a guerilla marketing campaign where they were put on coasters that will be distributed all over New York City (in 2012).
