Brief: Everyone hates queuing, train delays and rush-hour traffic – but is it all a state of mind? Change perception and let the bad times rock and the good times roll

My response to the brief is a Queue Survival Kit, called ‘Q’.  Users of the kit benefit from a rewards system and novelty items to make queuing fun.

The pocket-sized kit contains: a points card, a puzzle, sweets, a pen and sticky notes for The Waiting Game.  The Waiting Game encourages consumers to answer the fun questions on the sticky notes and stick their responses to Waiting Walls so others can be entertained whilst queuing.

The points system allows users to gain points from waiting, logging them at Waiting Points.  The longer they queue, the more points they earn.  These can then be converted into rewards.

The app allows for digital interaction, providing a live queue tracker, games to play in realtime with other queuers and a digital points card to track and log your rewards.
