This project started in September 2010.

I started working in this project together with eBuddy's Management team, Marketing team, Product Owner, Interaction Designer and VP Products and Marketing to help define the product's core values, requirements and targets before we could properly work on the Interaction Design flows and User Interface designs.

My job here was and remains to define and translate all core values and constantly changing requirements into a unique interface that not only needs to differ from eBuddy's flagship product (eBuddy IM) but still be “part of the family”; make it ready to play a lead role into eBuddy's future and feel as solid as eBuddy's foundation and its well known ability to deploy high quality award-wining software and user experience.

The mobile market is a fast paced one, since its first wireframes and UI sketches; the requirements have never stopped evolving together with eBuddy XMS branding, its UI and the platforms that it has been and will be released until 2012.

The demand for designs and mockups has increased a lot since the start of the project. Nowadays when there's a multi platform feature that needs UI designs, first it’s my job to define the initial look and feel for a platform or feature and then share my vision with other visual designers whom I provide art direction to make sure the brand and the product overall look and feel are being kept the way it has been defined initially.

Last but not least, it's my responsibility to ensure the quality of the designs during implementation in any given platform and then review what has been done together with developers, QA and UX teams to make adjustments for the expected pixel perfect result.

Here are some final assets created for eBuddy's Marketing team to be used in social platforms and the eBuddy XMS Bot. My main role for these final assets was to provide visual guidelines and art direction to keep the communication style the same as previously defined together with eBuddy's Marketing team.
