This was my original character design for Muttman. The character has since developed and changed somewhat. This cover shows Muttman rescuing a woman in distress and thwarting a purse snatcher.

Early on in the development of my Muttman character, I wanted to pay homage to the comics I loved growing up. Particularly Spiderman. Here, a young boy is bitten by a dog which has rabies, mixed with other chemical factors. A true knock off of the 60's marvel origins.

After being bitten by the chemically charged mutt, the kid wakes up the next morning to find himself transformed into a mutated mutt man. His mom freaks!

In my Muttman comic there's a scene where these bikers come into the main characters home town. These are bad dudes. A gang known as the Diamond Spiders.

For this scene, I wanted to create some real tension for our character at the table. This tough gang has walked into his favorite diner and he knows there's going to be trouble. He is dispatched by the big guy very quickly.
