PT - Dalkys é bastante conhecida em sua região por aqueles que acreditam na medicina alternativa. Muitos buscam sua ajuda desde cidades distantes. Entretanto, apesar do sucesso e prestígio que adquiriu por seus dons de curandeira, vive em contexto familiar muito doentio e mantém uma relação matrimonial completamente disfuncional.
ES - Dalkys es muy conocida en su región entre aquellos que creen en la medicina alternativa. Muchos acuden a su ayuda desde pueblos distantes. A pesar de ser muy solicitada y de poseer prestigio por sus dones para curar, convive en un contexto familiar bastante enfermo y mantiene una relación de pareja disfuncional.
EN - Dalkys is a middle age woman that lives in a far village in the Cuban country side. For 20 years she has carried out a ritual to cure people illness. During the ritual she is possessed by Saint Lazarus’ spirit and she becomes a powerful being. She helps people that come from every part in Cuba. In spite of her healing powers, she can´t help her husband Evelio, who has deep diabetes. The worsening of Evelio’s illness and his lack of faith make Dalkys to doubt about her own power.
