These are the process pictures of the deck for "Appoggiatura" at Denver Center for the Performing Arts/Denver Center Theatre Company. We first primed the floor, second, we cartooned the brick pattern. Next, we painted with a sea sponge roller so that the bricks would look as though they had a stone like texutre yet were still two-dimensional. We then added glazes of browns, blues, grays and purples.
