Surfer Magazine invited The Happening Studio to design their entire issue of women’s surf magazine called, Salted. Between the two of us, we manage to work on layout, lettering, and typographic from front to back. Masato focused on the editorial design and layout, my task was to create a custom display type to capture the unique energy for all the articles in the issue. Below are a couple of my favorites.
