Destiny Exotics was created to be a companion site and online resource for players of the Bungie video game "Destiny." I have no official affiliation with Bungie; this is a wholly independent project. 

An important aspect of the game for many is collecting armor, weapons, and other gear. The rarest items are called "exotics," and collecting these comes with bragging rights. Destiny Exotics allows players to track the progress of their collections by marking off what they have, seeing what they are missing, and comparing gear statistics to judge the quality of their collection. In short, Destiny Exotics is an online checklist that logs collectibles in a way that the game does not.

Destiny Exotics was designed to be responsive to virtually all screen sizes and resolutions. This version of the site uses localStorage to save changes to the checklist in the user’s browser cache; however, I am currently developing a server-based version of the site that will allow users to create accounts so that their collections display consistently on all devices. Destiny Exotics is hand-coded in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and JQuery.
