SOSTENIBILE MODULARE LEGGERO
2009 - Residential Social housing
Itri (Italy)
New ways of living, sustainable building and relationship between living and economy, are the criteria guiding the project proposal. The building is linear, made of four floors above ground, on the east-west board. On the facade are dug lodges opening onto the "urban square" and open to view the panorama of the surrounding hills. The lodges were designed as a removal from the prismatic volume of departure: a gap of one or more plans that in some cases through from side to side body building. These open spaces, collectives or individuals, are filtered and protected by wood panel systems that still grates even redefining the coverage volume. On the back of volume depletion should be reconstructed from the development of horizontal canopy. The building is light, does not weigh on the environment, gray energy was subdued choosing natural materials easily available on site, recycled, recyclable, dry assembled and then easily disassembled and reusable. The type of the accommodation comes from a different combination of planimetric module dimensions 3.25×3.40 m; types originate as small, medium and large. Almost all the accommodations feature a private garden to the different levels, obtained by "emptying" of the building. It provides a building system that involves prefabrication structures, floors, external walls, partitions and cell baths. The central heating/cooling system with radiant panels probes using geothermal heat pump, with integration of solar and photovoltaic panels.
