In Summer 2013 I developed a series of illustrations for an installation project in collaboration with
illustrator and friend Giacomo Bagnara.
The work, together with other site specific projects, was displayed in the park of a 8th century Villa in a small town close to Verona in the north of Italy, in conjunction with a local Arts and Music Festival.

Me and Giacomo took inspiration from their former backgrounds and education (I studied product design, Giacomo is an architect), taking elements from the everyday on a micro and macro scale, with the aim of translating reality into graphics and patterns, shapes and lines, textures and colors.

Working separately on their illustrations, and combining and arranging the paintings to create a dialogue between the pieces, they called this consistent body of work MICRO MACRO.
It doesn't really matter the scale you look at things, you will always find a way to look at them in a graphic way.
