This was my submission for the Folio Society/ House of Illustration 2015 Competition. I went a very different route with these series. using a blend of ink and rough pencil and white acrylic, I composed my drawings and then colored them digitally. Finally finding a faster and consistent way of working with illustrations. 

The goal of this project was to illustrate three ghost stories and a cover. The stories were set during the early part of the 20th century. I used inspiration from old photographs and spiritual photography/ faux ghost photography from that time.
