All of the protests are, in a way, decays. They are the decays stemming from a system in which the proper handling may not be present. Even though the protests are seen as the decays within the system by the governments, they are a natural occurance in the modern world and often a must to make the system better, to provide a political growth in the society. For in the protesters’ eyes, the system is in the decay, and they are protesting for a growth.

For this concept, distorted photographs are taken during several recent protests in İstanbul. The forms of protesters’ are distorted because it explains that how the protesters are seen by the governments and the majority of the society; a decay in the system which is working fine as far as they are concerned. Moreover one reason of the aesthetic preference is to show the chaos in protests.
